He specializes in adult and pediatric medicine and focuses on helping you and your family members prevent illness before it becomes serious. Dr. Buffington is also skilled in medical weight-loss issues and testosterone therapy.
He attended Northwest High School in Justin, then received his Bachelor of Science in biology at Texas Christian University in Fort Worth, Texas. He attended medical school at The University of Texas Medical Branch in Galveston, Texas.
Dr. Buffington completed his internship at St. Joseph Medical Center in Houston, where he received Intern of the Year honors. He spent the majority of his residency at The Methodist Hospital in Houston, where he served as chief resident and received recognition as Resident of the Year.
Dr. Buffington worked in rural west Texas, at a regional hospital in Seymour, where he was responsible for emergency room coverage, inpatient hospital duties, and outpatient clinic duties. He opened his practice in Keller eight years ago and has since earned a reputation for being a compassionate and skilled clinician. He is board-certified in obesity medicine through the American Board of Obesity Medicine and is also a member of the Obesity Medicine Association.
